This article describes step-by-step how to add an email account in the Mac Mail application. First, open Mac Mail and select "Add Account," then choose "Other Mail Account." Next, enter your name, email address, and password. Then add the server names for incoming and outgoing mail. After the account settings are searched for, open the settings under "Mail" and manually adjust the connection settings, including port and SSL encryption. Finally, set the IMAP path prefix to INBOX and save the settings.

Important: Please make sure that TeamViewer is installed on your device before the appointment.

4. The account settings will now be searched for. This may take a little longer. Please wait until the following window appears and select Mail:
5. Open the settings from the Mail menu list...
6. Navigate via Mail - Preferences - Account to the account you just created. Now uncheck "Automatically manage connection settings" and correct the port if necessary, as well as (optionally) the SSL encryption, and set authentication to password.
7. Click on "Advanced IMAP Settings." Set the IMAP path prefix to INBOX. (Default for IMAP)
