1. Log in to the Plesk administration tool. (Forgot password?)
2. Click on the Websites & Domains tab and then on the Hosting Settings icon next to the domain for which you want to change the document root.
3. Under Document Root, you can now freely specify a directory that will serve as the new main directory for this domain. It can be an already existing directory. If it is a directory that does not yet exist, it will be created automatically through this process. Please save the change by clicking OK.
If an application (for example, Joomla or WordPress) was installed via Plesk Applications, the Document Root cannot be changed. If WordPress was installed via the WordPress Toolkit, the Document Root can still be adjusted.
Redirecting to a subdirectory must then be set up via an .htaccess file.
