Plesk: Setting up a Database

1. Log in to the Plesk administration tool. (Forgot password?)

2. Click on Databases in the left panel and select the Add Database button:
3. The database name can be chosen freely but should not contain special characters. It is also mandatory to create a database user.
   You can generate a secure password using the Generate button or enter a password of your own choosing. A secure password includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

4. Once the database user has been created for the database, you can access the database via phpMyAdmin through the Webadmin menu.
