Create Directory & User
Log in to the Plesk administration tool. (Forgot password?)
Make sure you are on the Websites & Domains tab.
Click on Password-Protected Directories:
Click on Add Protected Directory:
Enter the name of the directory under Directory Name. If it does not yet exist, it will be created automatically. Using / will protect the entire domain.
Confirm with OK. Now a user must be assigned to the directory.
To do this, click on the directory (/).
Here you can add a new user.
Define a username and a secure password. A secure password includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Change Password
To define the rights for the statistics, you can click directly on the folder path.
Here you can click directly on the existing user and define a new password by entering it twice.
Remove Protection
To completely remove the protection, select the folder path using the checkbox and then click Remove.
