This article describes features of the Pro version of a software, including file permissions, Office integration, and full-text search. For file permissions, folder and subfolder rights can be defined in detail, with subfolders only shareable if the main folder is accessible. The Office integration allows viewing and editing certain Office documents via the web interface. The full-text search enables searching through PDF and Office documents, with indexing occurring every 12 hours.

File Permissions
With the Pro version, you have the option to define file and folder permissions more precisely. For example, it is possible to set a folder as read-only and additionally grant specific subfolders write permissions for certain users or groups.
The following must be observed:
- A subfolder can only be shared with a user if the parent folder is also accessible to that user
- If a library is shared as read-only with a user and then a subfolder is given write permissions for that user, the user will receive 2 shared objects within their account. Since this can be confusing, it is recommended instead to use the special permissions for subfolders.
Office Integration
You have the option to view various Office documents with the following file extensions via the web interface:
- doc, docx
- ppt, pptx
- xls, xlsx
- odt, fodt
- odp, fodp
- ods, fods
Files with the following file extensions can also be edited directly:
- docx
- pptx
- xlsx
Full-Text Search
The integrated full-text search also allows searching PDF and Office documents.
The indexing generally takes place every 12 hours.
