The Plesk administration tool allows you to manage FTP accounts. To generate or change a password, log in, navigate to "Websites & Domains," select the desired domain, and choose the "FTP Access" menu item. Click on the corresponding user and use the "Generate" and "Show" options for the password. Please observe the security guidelines. The user interface differs slightly between the main and additional FTP users, but the procedure remains the same.
- Log in to the Plesk administration tool. (Forgot password?)
- Click on the Websites & Domains tab and expand the menu for the desired domain by clicking the arrow next to the domain name.
- Select FTP Access.
- Click on the desired user.
- Please note that the display for the main user is different from that of additional FTP users. However, the procedure is the same. Under Password, click on Generate and Show, then save with OK. You can also set your own password, but please refer to the relevant section in our Security Guidelines and comply accordingly.
