A switch from a Managed to a Root server is possible at any time through contract renewal, but without credit for the remaining term. Conversely, switching requires a new order so that a newly installed system can be provided. To credit the remaining term, confirmation of the cancellation date of the previous server is necessary. If the server migration is performed by METANET, the associated costs should be taken into account.
A switch from Managed to Root server is basically always possible through contract renewal (or immediately, but without credit for the remaining term).
Conversely, a new order is required so that a newly installed system with the corresponding control by METANET is available for the Managed server. To credit the remaining term of the previous contract, we need confirmation of the date by which the previous server can be canceled. Since a server migration is also necessary with the switch, please also refer to the article Costs Server Migration if you want us to perform this for you.
