This article describes the process of transferring a domain to METANET. To transfer a domain, the user needs a transfer code from the current registrar, which is often provided after the domain is canceled. The transfer must be confirmed by the domain owner and the previous provider. The remaining paid term is taken over by METANET. Users can initiate the transfer via the customer portal my.metanet.ch by logging in, entering the domain and transfer code, and following the order process.
| You can find the supported extensions (TLD) regarding our domain service as well as the price here. For the domain transfer to be successful, our transfer request must be confirmed by you or the domain owner, and the previous provider must also accept it. Therefore, it is important that you inform the previous provider, through whom the domain was registered, about the desired upcoming transfer. Once you have done this, please inform us so that the transfer request can be submitted. |
All domain extensions that can be registered or transferred to us can be found here:

To transfer a domain to us, you need the transfer code (also called Auth-Code). You receive this from your current registrar. In most cases, canceling the domain first is necessary, after which the transfer code will be sent to you.
| The already paid term with your current registrar will be taken over by METANET. |
As soon as you have the transfer code, you can apply for the transfer with this order form.
