This guide describes the setup of Business Mail on Android devices starting from version 5.1.x and highlights the fragmentation of the Android operating system, which prevents a universally valid instruction. Users should use their specific server address from the setup confirmation. Email, contacts, and calendar synchronization are provided by default, while tasks and notes can be synchronized via the app "Tasks & Notes for MS Exchange" from the Google Play Store. Adjustments to the server name depend on the assignment.
Please note that due to the large fragmentation of the Android operating system, as well as numerous customizations by individual device manufacturers, a universally valid guide cannot be provided. This guide mainly refers to the pure Android version from 5.1.x onward. If the setup does not work or you only want to synchronize certain content, we recommend using the Google Apps.
