The customer is responsible for data security and regular backups. The service is only available by prior arrangement, and the customer must give consent before support can access the PC. METANET AG’s liability is limited to foreseeable damages, and the customer is responsible for protecting their data. Claims for damages are limited to the effort required for data recovery.

General Information
We operate remote maintenance with the highest possible care and availability. METANET AG assumes no warranty for the programs installed on your computer, nor for their protective measures (antivirus software or firewall). The customer is solely responsible for their data security; regular backups of your local environment are assumed by us.
We assure you that our employees are adequately trained and familiar with confidentiality and duty of care obligations; furthermore:
- Without your explicit consent, our support cannot view your PC.
- Without your explicit consent, our support cannot collaborate with you.
- You can end the shared session at any time.
Please note that this service is only available during our support hours after prior telephone or written arrangement with our support team.

Disclaimer
The customer is responsible for backing up data. Liability for data loss is excluded unless the loss was caused by intentional or grossly negligent actions by METANET AG. Any claims for damages are limited to the effort required for data recovery in the case of proper data backup.
Limitation of Liability
METANET AG’s liability is limited to damages that could reasonably be expected at the start of remote maintenance under the known circumstances. Claims for damages from lost profits by the customer are excluded. The same applies to damages attributable to the customer’s sphere of control and risk.
