Registering and announcing nameservers is necessary when they are to be used with a domain that does not recognize them. If nameservers are not registered, an error message will be displayed. To use new nameservers, they must be registered with the domain’s registrar. If Metanet is the registrar, please contact us via a support form or by email at support@metanet.ch. For use with .ch domains, the nameservers must also be announced to SWITCH. This applies to all new nameservers regardless of the domain extension.

If you try to enter unregistered nameservers for a domain, you will receive a corresponding error message:

If you want to use new, own nameservers, they must first be registered. This is regardless of whether the nameservers were newly defined in Plesk, DNS Cloud, or externally.
The nameservers must be registered with the registrar of the naming domain. If we are the registrar of the domain, please contact us accordingly via the support form.
Please provide us with the desired nameserver names, the IP addresses associated with these names, and for which domains you want to use these nameservers (initially).
This applies to all new nameservers with all domain extensions.
Announce nameserver
To be able to assign a nameserver (belonging to a non-.ch domain) to a .ch domain for the first time, it usually must still be announced to SWITCH.

You have correctly registered the following 2 nameservers:

ns2.ichbineinneuerns.com
