This article describes various settings and features in a webmail interface. It explains how to change the default layout, set date, time, language, and theme, as well as how to change the password. Setting Date, Time, Language, and Theme
The time zone as well as the time and date display can be set via the user interface settings. Language and theme are also adjusted through this setting.
- Click the "Settings" button on the left in the overview.
- Then select the top entry "User Interface" from the menu on the left.

Now you can adjust the language, time zone, time, date, and layout.
Change Password
- Click on "Settings".
- Then select the "Password" entry under "Settings" in the left column.
- Define a new password now.

| The newly set password becomes active only at the next login. After saving the new password, log out of webmail and log back in with the new password. |
Special Folders (Folder Assignment for Drafts, Spam, Sent, Deleted)
Under the special folders setting, you can specify which folder should be used for which emails. This is especially important for spam, deleted, sent emails, and drafts.
You can also use one of your own created folders.
To adjust the folder settings, please proceed as follows:
- Click "Settings" on the left.
- Select the menu item "Special Folders".
- Now you can edit the folder settings.

Usage
Identities are sender email and contact addresses that can be specified as the sender when composing a message. Also known from common email programs where you can select the sender for the message.
Add New Identity
To create a new identity, proceed as follows:
- Click the "Settings" button on the left.
- Select the "Identity" menu item.
- Click "Create" at the top right.
- In the right pane, you can now enter all details such as display name, email address, signature, etc.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes and save the new identity.
Edit/Delete Identity
To edit or delete an identity, proceed as follows:
Edit Identity:
- Click the "Settings" button on the left.
- Select the "Identity" menu item.
- Select the desired identity and edit the details in the right window.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Delete Identity:
- Click the "Settings" button on the left.
- Select the "Identity" menu item.
- Select the desired identity and click "Delete" at the bottom.
- Confirm the deletion again with OK, and the identity will be deleted.
Server Settings
To access the server settings, click "Settings" on the left in the overview and then select the menu item "Server Settings".
Here you have the option to enable/disable the following options.
Mark as read when deleting
If this option is active, all messages are marked as read when deleted.
Mark as deleted instead of moving to trash
If you activate this option, all deleted messages in the inbox will be marked as deleted (displayed with a strikethrough) and not moved to the trash. To permanently delete these, mark the messages marked as deleted and drag & drop them into the "Deleted" folder.
Delete messages in spam directly
If messages directed to the SPAM folder should be deleted immediately, check this box.
Empty trash on logout
All emails in the trash (deleted messages) will be automatically and permanently deleted when you log out of webmail if this option is active.
