Starting with version 8 of the Website Builder, your website can be encrypted with a Let's Encrypt certificate. Before activating the SSL/TLS certificate, the environment must meet certain requirements, such as using Website Builder version 8 or higher and publishing the site. After publishing, the Website Builder will automatically attempt to request an SSL certificate, which can take up to 48 hours. After that, SSL encryption will be automatically activated. To encrypt all requests, a permanent redirect from HTTP to HTTPS can be configured in the Website Builder editor. The certificate is automatically renewed before expiration.

Introduction
Starting with Website Builder version 8, it is possible to encrypt your website using a Let's Encrypt certificate.
Requirements
Before activating the SSL/TLS certificate, the environment must meet the following requirements:
- Website Builder site version 8 or higher
- Your own domain must actively resolve to the Website Builder environment.
- The site must be "published."
Activation
Once the website has been published, the Website Builder will automatically attempt to request an SSL certificate. This can take up to 48 hours. Afterwards, the Website Builder will automatically activate SSL encryption.
By default, only requests explicitly made with https:// are encrypted. To encrypt all requests generally, you can enable a permanent redirect from HTTP to HTTPS. In the Website Builder editor, you can configure this under "Page Settings" -> "Security":
The certificate is automatically renewed before expiration.
